Cut or grind

The cut refers to the way diamonds are cut. However, do not confuse this with the shape of a diamond.

The purpose of diamond polishing is to reproduce the brilliance of the diamond as beautifully as possible. Only by grinding can you influence the beauty and value of a diamond. The other C's cannot be changed.

Clarity or brightness

The clarity of a diamond also determines its value. The purer a diamond, the higher its value. The clarity is measured with a loupe that magnifies 10 times.

Please note: almost every diamond contains small impurities that have arisen during crystallization.

Color or color

The color of a diamond also plays a role in determining its value. The finest white is the most expensive.

The color refers to the presence of discoloration in a white diamond. A colorless diamond increases the light transmission, which makes the diamond shine more.

Carats or weight

Diamonds are sold by weight. This weight is expressed in carats. We charge 1 carat per 1/5 gram. 1 carat gets 100 points. So 1 point is 0.01 carat.
